Technology does not distract students. Many online educational online videos such as Kahn Academy help students get the help that they need in certain classes. Students can receive help from the internet and score higher on tests because of technology. There are also certain programs like Remind that allows teachers to contact students via group message. This way students can receive personal help on at-home assignments and ask the teacher questions after instructional school time. Individuals may say that technology has too many social sites and new propaganda that can distract children. However, there are many time management apps that keep individuals locked out of social sites so that they can use their devices to further their personal education. Technology is a contribution to the advancement of more efficient teaching and learning.
Conducting one's self in the classroom is imperative to how a classroom operates. It is instructed in most classroom settings that a student remains quiet and attentive during class. These basic rules are have been put in place since kindergarten for a specific reason. This is so learning is most efficient during instructional times. Teachers come into class expected students that take their education seriously enough to be quiet and attentive regardless of the circumstances. If these rules are not followed, the students in the classroom can not and will not learn efficiently. Another downside of not being cooperative in class is confusion. A student can not focus if there is a loud and destructive classroom. It is important and necessary for students to remain in their seat and not to speak unless asked to in the classroom.
